A SCENE
A scene with Carynne and Kellaris, after Skylark has imprisoned Kellaris and has not told Carynne about Kellaris’ whereabouts or anything about his secret collaborations. Carynne finds a wounded, chained Kellaris.Carynne: Kellaris.
Kellaris: You…There was silence.
Kellaris: You belong to Skylark…
Carynne: I belong only to the one who has sent me.
Kellaris: And who has sent you.
Carynne: The Unicorn.
Kellaris: Why did Skylark send you here?
Carynne: He doesn’t know I’ve come.
Kellaris: Don’t act like you care! (he snarled)
Carynne: Then I won’t.
Kellaris: Who are you?
Carynne: Carynne.
Kellaris: No… Who are you?
Carynne: I am who I am.
Kellaris: You talk in riddles.
Carynne: Not riddles, but truth. There was no reply.
Carynne: I have been sent to take away your pain.
Kellaris: Why do you care about me?
Carynne: You have a place in my heart. I grieve for you. I know the pain Skylark has caused you.
Kellaris: Don’t think that sympathy will force me to give in to your whims.Carynne moved closer to Kellaris to touch his bare flesh, but he jerked back.
Carynne: I’ve come with healing, not pain.
Kellaris: You are my enemy. I don’t trust you.
Carynne: I only desire for unity again between all of creation. And union back unto their creator. Unto God.Kellaris was silent and Carynne reached out to touch him again.
Carynne: Please… I wish to wash your pain away.
Kellaris was silent and didn’t not resist.
Carynne: I know the pain you fear. How vulnerable your woman and son are with…
Kellaris: Leave them out of this!
Carynne: I know Morlanis.
Kellaris: Shut up!Carynne was silent then Kellaris continued…
Kellaris: How… How do you know about our son?
Carynne: I know that they have found a special place in the arms of the Unicorn. Without God, you could not protect them any better if you were standing beside them than you being in this dungeon.Kellaris: No one knows…
Carynne: …that Morlanis is not your wife. You never presented her before God. Kin was born out of wedlock. Curses befall upon your sundered family.Kellaris: No… It’s not true! Skylark… Why are you with that rotten bastard?
Carynne: I love him.
Kellaris: How?
Carynne: I love all: Morlanis. Kin. You, Kellaris. As Carynne was caressing, Kellaris, he felt at ease.
Kellaris: You know my pain. Let me out! Let me see them again!
Carynne: I cannot let you out. For the one who sent me will not permit me. You will understand why, soon. Endure with patience, even when Skylark returns to torture you. For your sufferings will not come without reward. Soon, very soon, you will see Morlanis again. And at that time, you must present her and your son before the Unicorn. They must be dedicated to Him immediately. You must not hesitate with the cares of this world, of the war, of revenge.Kellaris: You will be a widow if he tortures me!
Carynne: Tonight, before dawn, you must give yourself over to the Unicorn. You must relinquish all of your pain and suffering unto Him. You must forgive Skylark for everything he has done to the elves. To your homeland. To your family. To you. There must be no more anger. No more bitterness. No more revenge.Kellaris: (laughed) Now I know you are speaking to me in jest.
Carynne released her hand from Kellaris and stood.
Carynne: The veil of darkness has been torn. Tonight, you will see!
Carynne started out of the cell and Kellaris yelled for her to return. After no response, Kellaris realized that he was void of all physical pain.

This is really well written with a very good message! Is it yours or from somewhere else?
I wrote it for a scene in my novels. Anything entitled "A scene" is a cut/paste job from whatever state the scene is from a novel in work. I think almost everything actually on this site I wrote except for a few scripture verses.
